By now maybe a few of you have seen my thread, my worst freakin nightmare. About how the game loads up to a gray screen then an error message comes up that says: mohaa has caused error <unknown> and I have to close it everytime. The game has worked once, the day I got it, after I shut down a few programs in ctr-alt-dlt. After I restarted the computer, the game continued not to work agian. Now, nearly a week later, i feel as if i've tried everything and it still does not work. Words cannot express my frustruation, anger, and sadness. I'm on the verge of tears. I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, this is like a mallet to the stomach. I continue to have hope, knowing that it worked that one time, i know at least, that the game works. But i'm running low on options and I need help. So I must ask a few questions. First of all, is there anyone out there with the same problem? Is there anyone who has Windows ME and a geforce MX 32mb video card? If so, does the game run fine? Does it run at all? Is there anyone who had similiar problems and solved them? if so, how? Please, i'm as depressed as hell, i need help.

Well...that may be the resolution. If there are corrupted files in windows, you may not be able to ever play it until it is reinstalled.

Ok...first have you tried uninstalling it, doing a search in windows for any folders left behind, then ran regedit to look in the registry? If not there is one other thing to try. This has been a miracle fix for me, for I was in the same boot as you a few years back with Kingpin. I ran Glsetup and it fixed it! Go to http://www.glsetup.com download the most recent version of Open GL and run it. It will clean out older Opengl files updating them with new ones. I REALLY think this could work. First make sure ALL traces of the game are gone from your HD, then run GL setup, then reinstall. I REALLY hope it works for you man I know how you feel...let me know, I will check back in a while. GL

No, already tried glsetup. all that happened was that my pc was stuck at 640x480 and 256 colors. Took me forever to fix it. also I removed both demos already. I got all excited when I saw a mohaanetdemo file in my registry. But when I deleted it and played the game, no luck. I wanna ask another question. Does the cd-drive start to whir up, then stop, then whir up then stop, then load then, just keep whirring and stopping, while mohaa normally loads for you guts?

I know this may sound unheard of.. but occassionaly you end up with a defective cd. Try somebody else's copy or exchange yours. Just a suggestion.

How is your Windows Swap file set?
Are you letting Windows manage your swap file?
Is your swap file set to a large enough number figure?
Maybe that's why your h/d is constantly trying to access(start & stop)

I had the same problem. It happened right after I patched it. Had to uninstall completely (not repair), and then reinstall.
