Default BT help needed - 11-02-2003, 11:24 AM

Can anyone tell me the trick to getting past the tank assault in BT?? I'm having a bitch of a time trying to hit the tanks with the mortars. Is there some special way to aim them??

Thanks,

Mike

You will just have to learn how to kill the tanks with the morters. I can get the first three so far. Don't give up, try for a while and then go MP for a while.

aim for the top of the hills, mash the fire button and make small adjustments so the tank rolls right through the hail or morters, jump back and forth between the 2 sides and use the n00b t00b if they get too close.

for those that don't speak gamer (lamer???): n00b t00b is the bazooka, there's a whole crate of shells next to the mortars

I'm having a hell of a time with this scene too even tried it under the Easy mode and managed to kill 6 tanks but there are at least 1 to 2 more , 1 more that I know of. Think the person following should at least man the second mortar, this one scene is way too hard for one person

It can be done you just need to learn how to range the motars... The higher the motar is pointing the closer it will land to you and the lower it is the farther away it will hit.

Tanks will come at you two at a time from each side of the map so you have plenty of time to get them before the next set come.

F5 - save game hit this a lot too.

I went through this on the hardest level and once I got the motars ranges down I was killing those tank as soon as they came over the ridge.

practice makes perfect need to just get down and get busy, if the tanks get to close for u to hit with the motors then use the bazookza u have at least
6 rounds or so. But this is only if they get to close to the building.
