you could do that.

or create a zip file

mypack.zip

and rename it to

mypack.pk3

keep in mind though that you will need to create the file tree.

so create the folder models then inside it textures or what ever.

once done and all the files are in place just drag and drop the models folder on the zip file you created and youre done.

hey, i just made/edited my skins and its a .tga file. So now, how do i repack it all? thnx a lot!

I am sure you can find all pk3 tools and info how to do it from FilePlanet or some other good hosting-all-kinds-of-quake-files-and-stuff-site

Check out http://www.quakefiles.com
Then search for PakScape. I think the latest version is 0.11. It has a good explorer interface for browsing and creating pk3 files.
I have also heard that you can use WinZip, but then heard that it can mess them up sometimes.. so I am not sure on that program.
