I use the WASD combo with Q and E for Leans. F is for using stuff. R is for reload. Space bar for alternate and left shift for crouch position. I used to be an arrow user, but you need access to more keys and that area doesn't have that many.

I know, thats why this came up to my mind. I am having really hard time to figure where to put the most useful leans at, and it seems only thing that could be done is to switch the key combination

I switch between the two.

WADS
Left shift=Jump
Left ctrl=crouch
Space=Use
Q & E = Lean
Wheel Mouse3 =Reload
Right Mouse=Secondary,Scope
Left Mouse=fire
-----------------------------
Arrow keys:
Right Shift=Jump
Right Ctrl=Crouch
Enter=Use
Lean is hard to use while using the arrow keys for movement. haven't found whats comfortable yet.
Mouse actions are the same

Oh and my hand hurts more using the WADS config. but i have more options

I used to play with the arrow keys and I was really stubborn about switching, but when I did it made a huge difference to my skill level. Now I can't imagine playing any other way. WASD all the way, man.

here is the perfect setup i am using.

arrow up-forward
arrow down-back
arrow left-strafe left
arrow right-strafe right
right control-lean left
0 num. key-lean right
right shift-jump
delet key-crouch
enter-use
/-walk

This is the setup that i always use because it keeps my left hand in one area. My dad hardly ever plays computer games and he loves this setup. BTW no more cramping in the left hand, while the right hand uses the mouse. U guys should try it! =)
