Even the demo I had did this...

everything is fine till I launch the mission...
then (in the background) MOH wants to connect to the internet..

I must set the graphics to a lower res to start the stupid game, {cancel the dialup} jump back and fourth when it say's continue... So the mouse will reactivate into the game, and then reset the video to to a different res to go full screen with mouse control...

If this is not done... No mouse control, and the keys are only available...
and the stupid dial up stays loaded in the background... let alone "rnaapp" boggin things down on normal systems...

Glad I have some power over here, cause I know other people are experiecing this, but they just don't know it...

MOH cancels the ALT "tab" commmand
so you can not jump out to what running in the background...
So start your gemes in a lower res than your desktop, after your in the game fully, go to options and switch your res..

Try selecting "Never dial" in your internet options.

I believe it's a spyware installed by 2015 or EA. By making people who are playing the SP game dial up to the Internet, they can keep track of those who are running on pirated copy. I've never encountered any other games that have this weird issue. What do you think?

Goto Control Panel.

Double-click "Internet Options."

Click the "Connections" tab.

Select "Never Dial a Connection."

This will only disallow automatic dialing. It will not disable your normal dialing when you want to sign on to your ISP, so do not worry.

Believe it or not but I had the same problem with Half-Life when it FIRST came out. Subsequently, Sierra came out with the first patch for the game, and it cleared the problem up.... Regarding MoH, I found the "Internet Options" workaround to fix the problem.

Tried the "never dial a connection" without success. Have to connect, launch game, and physically disconnect modem line to disconnect from ISP (AOL). No big deal, but aol running in background, I'm sure, uses some system resources, and slows things down to some degree. Hopefully, ea will address this in a patch soon.

The reason the SP demo tried to connect is because it had some of the multi coding built in. The full version when it is trying to connect even in the SP mode is because the game is trying to connect to Gamespy for MP...Unlike other Q3 based titles, this one uses the same launcher for MP and SP. THat is most likely why it is trying to connect.

What happens if you just unplug the phone line going into the modem. Better yet, go out and get a T1, DSL, Cable connection so you don't have to bother with CRAPOL.

well... the "never dial" does work..

But, also resorts the end user to manually connect to the net... your browser no longer autoexecutes the dail-up script...

That's ok for me... I just popped a shortcut onto my start menu...

I doo believe it is a code logging connection

Everyone- get Ad-Aware 4.55 or better... it scans your registry and files...
The best I've tested yet...

and get Uninstal Manager v3.2
it tracks ANY additions and changes to your system, Completely....

set in your autoexec.bat
-deltree your cookies, history and temporary internet files, and windoes temp...

run ad-aware to clean your spyware...
and set an uninstal file...

when your done with the net... every now and then.... click the restore button in Uninstal Manager...

Your system becomes "New" to the internet each time...

When you install something you like or want, click update...
Simple way to keep what you do hidden...

The above is for all you porno hacken cracken noCD fixen people out there like me
