Multiplayer Help!

Ok...

This is really frustrating me, i go into a multiplayer game...then when people come in with their "spiced" up names with strange characters like "¢" or even "£" for that matter...they come up as a "?"

This is a pain in the ass when you get people with names like "???v?k??"

Is there anyway i can prevent this WITHOUT the use of a pk3 mod...due to the fact that i am a DMW2 tester and need to keep my mohaa/main directory clean.

The question marks appear because of the font they are using. I believe it is downloadable. I never bothered with it myself , but Im sure these guys can tell you where to get it if you like.

Now , I think it works like skins , If you have the font you can see the font.

Not much you can do about someone who spells thier name like that. Ifd it is your server use rcon to find thier player number and kick them.

Hmmm ok.

Well do you know any links to new fonts besides the LiquidFonts because i've tried them and they still come up as "?"

I don't think it's fonts myself. How do you change your font in the mutiplayer option room?

I only know that much because I asked a guy on my server....

" What does ??v??oR mean?"

He replied with " You have to have the font , heres the site....."

One of the Maj. in my clan really liked it and changed his name so it appeared simillar , to me anyways. Thats how I know its the font.

Of corse I was not interested , I just wanted to know what the deal with the "?" was.
