Meg white, the drummer, doesn't have much talent, and they know it, but they don't need any complicated drumming. Jack White, has lots of talent in both guitar playing and song writing. Especially for never having lessons. And before you say anything about him not having lessons, neither did kurt cobain or jimmi hendrix (at least pretty sure about jimmy)

i'm starting to think you've never really heard any white stripes. much less any white stripes live.... or read any respected music magazines, not that they really matter much, but several have compared the greatness of hendrix and jack white.

Its not the technicality of the song, his songs ARENT hard. but he plays them with heart, and a style that cant be cloned.

Ive been playing drums no lessons for comin on 11 years.
Doesnt mean i know what is a difficult song, and what's not

It doesnt take talent to play music with heart.
