Well most of the problems with the the map files are that people don't include a small file for the map in teh dm folder called an .min file. MAC computers cant run the map it just boots to teh main screen.

Since I found this out I always add the min file into the dm folder with the maps .bsp.

Also I noticed a trend of exe files for installing full mods like the city nights final was. Thats why I posted a french link to the mod that is the zip with the pk3 and sound folder.

With most mods that don't work with mac computers the problem is usually as simple as not adding small files that are over looked by the creator.
