Simply Amazing. PErhaps too long...perhaps some parts were cheesy like the dead army in the battle of the white city but as to put it they were simply crushed by the grandeur of the rest of the film I mean the battle of the white city was jsut mind blowing. I've never seen such a film, probably the best in years. I came to the cinema expecting not much but also expecting to be a long long film so it turned out great. Plus the fact that I was expecting a fantasy film not a movie with Nazis and panzers so the "cheesy" parts weren't so bad after all. After all it was still quite realistic.
If you're not gonna watch ROTK on the cinema and rather rent a DVD you will regret it. The fact that I watched it on cinema made the experience 10x better.
Amazing. 2 thumbs up.
I never liked the LOTR storyline, just never hit me in my movie g-spot. My freind is absofucking insane over it and I find it odd, mainly cause he can speak Elvish....yea.

You're friend is a HUGE nerd if he speaks "elvish." It's like so StarTrek nerds who say they can speak clingon (or whatever)
I thought the dead army part was chessey. The perfect army: no moral, no fatigue, no casualties, and extreamly powerful.
Realalistic? uh... Yes... with hobits, orcs, trolls, elves, dwarfs... most realalistic movie ever.
I wouldn't say ROTK was the best movie this year, but it makes my top 10 list.
ive the misfortune of living in a small town about 2 hours from any theater that is playing it and my dad wont take me to see but the reviews are outstanding
