I think he's referring to civillians that get hit in crossfires almost daily, not the guys in the video

well innocent or not those three guys did have weapons. although the gunner did sound a little anctious to to blast those guys.

by the time there is evidence they are either shooting at you or have blown themselevs up taking innocents with them.

the only realiable way to fight terrorism is to recruit and train people to infiltrate their cells so we know who the terrorists are and capture or kill them (preferrably without killing civvies in the process, because that only makes more pissed off people who can become terrorists). This has been done to some extent but there is still a long way to go.

I'd like to get my hands on an actual terrorist too (preferrably Bin Laden himself, one of the few people I honestly want to kill),
but I'll bet as a Marine you'll be fighting soldiers from an enemy army, unless you're sent on a secret mission to wipe out an Al Quaeda cell or something.

like I said in my edited post, the best way to know who the terrorists are is to recruit people to infiltrate their cells, but that is risky and takes a long time.
