No disrespect to actual American soldiers who fought there (I live in America myself) - But it's easy to end a war when your allies have been fighting for years, live right next to the strongest Axis nation, AND have plenty of resources. I thank god the Allies fought as well as they did. If Germany captured Stalingrad they could have moved fronts and won the war. All the countries who fought were brave, (except maybe France? The Maginot line? )
