I was initially told I was too far frm the switching office to get DSL. A few months later, the pho co' called and said I qualified.

Who said you're too far frm the s/o? I'd re-check that. Get an official reply frm the tele' co'.

Also go to this site and check and see if you can find a company to serve you.

Your mentioned option sounds a bit expensive. However, if you want it go for it.

Also, there is satellite sevice but I'm not sure if it works with on-line gaming.
