I think being gay has more to do with events that have taken place in your life combined with your upbringing. To say that someone is born 'straight' or born 'gay' would imply that the person was born with a sexual preference in mind. Puberty doesnt take effect until later on and children dont know about sex, love, hate or any other traits that are inherited until after they are born. It makes more sense to me that past experiences are what shape a persons human sexual orientation.
