Sniper is superior on some maps, inferior on others. Same goes for shotgun. Shotgun doesn't take much skill to aim. The skill is in getting close to your target alive. Sniper does not take much skill to point and click your mouse. You don't have to worry about gravity or wind, etc. Get real!
