Just got the game, but when playing the Lighting the Torch level, the game will all of a sudden freeze...the audio seems to be stuck in a stutter and I have to shut the entire computer down.

I have an Asus AliMagic mb with on board Cmedia sound, AMD 1.2gh cpu, 512 DDR memory, 60gb drive, 32mb Nvidia video card (AGP).

All video and sound drivers are up to date. Anyone ever see this before or have any clues?? Thanks for any and all help...

Chris

That happened to me to ,the mission was the one you have to plant bombs inside the U-boat.The game used to freeze in the same spot all the time,I just change my graphic setting, and I was able to pass it.

eugh .. onboard sound = evil.
old crappy ISA soundcards do the same thing,
even outdated PCI soundcards have that problem.

Sorry...running Win98SE...I have an SBLive Value card laying around...was thinking of installing that but was not sure it was sound card causing problems. Any chance this could be VIA chip related??

By the way, what did you set graphic setting to in order to bypass this issue?

The game does not freeze at the same spot each time, but does freeze only in that level so far. The previous levels were completed without a problem.

I have sound set to Medium and graphically color and texture set to 16MB...
