This just pisses me off. When i am playing mp and the game starts to become laggy i quit the game and look for another one. when i go to the browser in the game a stupid message come. It says "KRNL .DLL" is not performing its task. and on top of that my computer freezes and i have to restart the computer. And this happens 2 or 3 time a day

Thank for your Help

Downgrade to 98SE or upgrade to XP.

That's about all I can say, WindowsME sucks major ass. Sorry, man.

I was thinking about getting XP,but my games runs very good on Win98SE.So I won't bother.
I would go for XP because they just 10 bucks apart.

Good luck

His problem likely has little or nothing to do with Windows ME, as I have been playing the game from day one with Windows ME. But it's easier to play "blame the OS," I suppose...

Reload Windows ME. This happened to me before and thats how I fixed it. I just installed it again and I didn't lose one file doing it.

Hope this helps.

A lot of people will tell you not to but believe me, thats how you will fix this problem.

Ever since that fix ME has been great.

I've got ME as well, and I haven't had one game problem. I've run Max Payne with no problems, full every thing, MoH, full every thing, B17 (now that games a hog) with full everything. I keep hearing that ME sucks for games but I haven't had any problems what so ever.

ME just sucks because they hide a bunch of system processes that they really shouldn't hide.

Not that ME is any worse when it's working, it's just a lot harder to "fix" than 98SE, and has absolutely NO performance advantages.

I'd upgrade to winXP, seeing as Microsoft isen't spitting out any new OS's for awhile.

Win XP is going to be there main focus thus perfecting it for the gamer/networker/home user.

Yeah I had ME too. I upgraded to XP. I also have 98se on another computer and that one runs it great too. Either OS is better than ME.
