I've got my own haunted story. While working for an architectural firm in northern Maryland, I was sent out to do some field measurements of an old post office located in Havre De Grace, Maryland... Which is one of the oldest towns in MD. Anyways... The place was constructed just before the turn of the century and had been deserted for nearly 20 years. So this doctor thinks the building will make a great office, and I am sent out to perform a survey of the existing conditions. I go there, take measurements, everything seems normal... no big deal. I get back to the office and start to draft it out, when i notice that the dimensions are not adding up. Theres about a 10 foot discrepency. Totally confused, a coworker and I go out for another round of surveys. Sure enough we found out why I missed the 10 feet...

All of the interior walls had wooden panels... sure enough, one of them pushed in to reveal a network of hidden passages that we completely covered in spider webs and what not. So at this point its noting more than an interesting discovery... The next day, I go out alone to do the last of the surveying. As usual, I go into the building, go to the electrical panel and turn on all of the power. This time I had to document the old boiler room and coal chute. While im in this damp concrete basement, all I hear is "WHAMM WHAMM POP" all of the light bulbs had exploded, and Im stranded down there in the pitch black. Talk about some scary shit! I stumbel back upstairs and look at the panel again... everything but one breaker had been turned off - labeled post masters office. At that point I basically say "Fuck This" and head back to the office. When I get there the secretary tells me that about 80 years ago the post master was caught stealing money from the mail and was killed in one of the passages...
