mix and matching ram speeds is ok- as long as you get the best performance

if your system can only handle Pc-2100 DDR get like the pc-2700 or something because it's compatable to go at the highest the system will take it

don't mix brands because that can lead to problems

hell no. crucial is by far the best memory manufacturer. I just bought a gig of corsair 1gig pc3200 and ended up taking it back tonight because my computer kept rebooting on itself. so i put my old ram in, which happens to be crucial and no problems what so ever. tomorrow im buying a gig of pc3200 from crucial.
