I am new to hosting games - In the ASE there is a button Host, I selected this MOHAA launched so I selected for eg: A map, Launch game etc I wait a very long time online but no-one joins, am I doing something wrong, I am not using a dedicated server. So does everyone use dedicated servers or what, I am abit confused, any ideas? Also I have a 56k does that stuff it up for me. I selected a max 6 players to compensate for that.
Thanks in advance!!

Not too many people enjoy playing on 56k servers. They can see your ping and if its too high they wont join. lags the game severely. Give it a while though. Dont use dedicated server though. There are thousands of servers. Even with my cable connection, it still could take 5-10 min before someone joins

Each player needs about 25-40kb/sec upload from the server...6 players off a 56k connection is asking too much.
