If you could design your own mission, what would it be?

Probobally 1 in bastonge, like in BOB where they attack that town, its an objective map, the allies must storm across the open field to the town (where there are lots of sniper and mg42 spots) and blow up 1 or 2 88s. i think that would be COOL

I favor tactics so I would say there are alot of enfilade / defilade points to discourage bazookas and with very few high points for easy sniper kills. it would be pure tactics. put it in the wheat fields in SPR where the 2RNGR BN & 101st joined up after smoking that armored car. the grain is high in places, covers the dips and such... coolness.

another idea would be perhaps on the Elbe river where the river and riverbank (and perhaps 2 or 3 bridges, or crossings?) comes into play ... a longer, more narrow map... once the SDK comes out, I'll try to make these two...

Im thinking of making a Bastogne map. Bear with me, might confuse some of you.

Set up: Allies start in Forest, Germans as well. In the middle of the Forest is open area. Once Allies capture flag in open area, They own area and respawn there, while Germans are spawned back further from forest into town. Once Allies get into German forest, game switches to Objective with no respawn. Germans then spawn behind town. While Allies spawn in German forest.
Mission becomes: Allies must Desrtroy 88's and capture center of the town of FOY.
I would also add German mission: To destroy Allied command post at begining of Allied forest. Game does not end if Germans accomplish misison. I would set it up so if Germans destroy Allied command post, Allies stop re-spawing, while Germans still respawn. This way, destroying command post is like taking away re-enforcements for Allies(No radio to call for help). I know, it sounds complicated...

I would love to have a mission like Pegasus Bridge ("Hold until relieved") Where you have to take over a bridge, prevent the enemy from destroying it and then hold that position against any counter-attacks. It could work in MP of SP.

Airborne assault, def. Like episode 1, part 2 of Band Of Brothers. Rush in on planes, jump, regroup, and take out some flak & anti-aircraft cannons on the way. I jus wanna see all the bullets fly when parachuting, hehe. . .

i would love to see a mission like what krazyklown suggests. would there be artillery raining down like in BoB?

i personally would like to see a mission or a series of missions based on WWII history, like the taking of carentan or cherbourg or st. lo...missions that would be objective based...take the town, hold the town until reinforcements arrive....go to the next town...missions that followed what actually happened on D-Day and the days that followed as the allies continued their invasion inland....maybe one mission you would be 101st Airborne...the next 1st ID...the next the 29th ID.

If I were designing a "mission" (like the 6 big missions)(not level) for MOH I would do something like this:
You start out with a large unit.
All hell breaks loose and you are tasked with fighting like a regular infantryman for a while.

Then something happens where they need a special forces type guy to go take out some guns to help the frontal battle or rescue a downed pilot, capture kraut General, etc.

You take a squad of men and find a convenient place to attack into the enemy and you slip behind their lines in the confusion.

Then the mission continues with the covert crap that FPS are famous for.

A fun mission would be where you have to sneak into a famous Stalag (POW camp) to meet up with resistance people to go blow stuff up.

Yeah, defintely artillery raining down. And the only way to survive it is to dash to the foxholes. Artillery would only be fired every 1-2 minutes to give Allies a chance to advance...

Yeah, just like Bastongne. Shells going off all over the place. It would be cool to see the exploding trees too.

I'd like someone to recreate the battle for the bridge at Arnhem.

A Kazarene Pass (N. Africa) mission would be great too. Lots of tanks to worry about, which means you could actually JUSTIFY whoring with the bazooka or panzerfaust.

Yeah, all that'd be cool, but where is the freakin SDK!?

I'd like to see one with lots of allied tanks approaching a town held by the axis forces. The tanks would be shelling the town and the artillery from the town would be raining down around the tanks. Broken trees lying around and the infantry moving up behind the tanks trying to get into the town. Would be kinda like the Omaha Beach Obj map but with a town instead of bunkers, lots of tanks and more stuff to hide behind.

And this game needs land mines
