You don't need an IP address.
Use the in-game server browser if you have updated to version 1.1.

You can DL the 1.1 patch at www.mohaa.ea.com

it's easy to install, just double click on it and it does everything else for you.

Of course you need a legitamit copy of the game in order for it to work.
