how can i play online? i just downloaded gamespy went to play osme team match and it said ( server connection timed out)? can someone help me here?

you need to d/l the v1.1 patch for the version you have, US, or UK.....not sure about the rest of europe, but anywho that upgrade solves the time out error.
get the patch from this very site, cant remember the link but go to the main page.

and when u get it u can forget about gamespy and use the ingame browser by loading up the game, goto muliplayer, join game, join internet game, then browse in game browser

I think the UK patch works for all european versions.At least,it worked for me

It doesn't. I still have version 1.0. the patches don't work on the Dutch version.

Don't use gamespy, use "All Seeing Eye". Much better!! Get it at http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/
