I think Rainbow 6 is an excellent online FPS. Ninja Gaiden is the best RPG, Full Spectrum is creamable, Splinter Cell is excellent and the second just gets way better and online, and Halo is Halo..

The sports games on xbox are definately nothing to brag about but now that ea games went online with xbox live things should get more interesting with online bf:nam and ea sports. Xbox is a new system, you need to give it time to get some good games, but I still think there's tons of games that are good already.

Another thing: I hate it when people bitch about the cost of xbox live. When you think about it, it's $4.16 a month. And the first year is free. The only reason they make you pay is because they are constantly improving their servers and giving the gamers a lot less lag and also different areas of online play. Like XSN(Xbox Sports Network).

Xbox live is a multi million doller franchise alone. It predicted that it willl rake in more cash then Xbox sales themselves withing the year. Trust me that monthly fee does more then just upgrade servers prot lol. I have no complaints though . I enjoy a console game everynow and then. But I still love PC. Developers just need more confidence to bring more RPG's and console games to the PC. Once they do this Consoles will start to see more numbered days.

RPG'S suck I can;t stand them, they need kick ass FPS and really good realistic sports games (not Madden), and a few good platformers like the Jak and Dexter games along with Rachet and Clank on xbox. Then I think it will really take off.

Yeah, I hated RPG's too, but try morrowind. It's awesome. It's just simply a great game, forget about genre. And as far as kick ass FPS, one word, Halo, and 2.

Of the ones I've played...

Xenosaga, Suikoden III, Kingdom Hearts, FFX...all good games. I want to try Disagera or however it is spelled...strategy rpg along the lines of FFT.

I think SNES and Ps had more quality RPGs...PS2 needs some more.
