so far the only game that is worth playing online, that has a cd key is haflife or any of the mods). another good idea if you want your cd back is to get a no cd patch for your friend! this will let him play without the cd in. go to www.megagames.com they have lots of them!!!!!

No, it dosen't require the CD-key to play online, and yes, your friend is a theif. So stop trying to make this post look like you don't know its illegal, jackass.

Pfff, I've got friends that make the same amount of money I do and they still want to burn the game. Been playing mine since Jan 22! The beauty of buying a game. Also, didn't have any problems in doing the patch.

are you asking does he have to install the game? yes.
from what I have read, if you install the game on two computers using the same key, they will play each other and one person using disk 1 and the other using disk 2.

hope that helps.

Don't give your friend your game.

I bought MOHAA when it first came out and my friend wants to play it as well, but he has no job, so he has no money. He wanted me to copy the game for him which I then told him to go to hell or buy the game. So, now to my question, Since in order to play the game you can use either disk 1 or disk 2. Can I let him install my game on his Computer using the same Key? And if I can, can we play each other online?

Good question, I still think that it goes against the EULA, but you can always try it

Ok first off Bazooka Joe, I know it is illegal, never said it wasn't why do you think I told him I wouldn't copy it for him. He doesn't a CD copier so if I let him use mine he can't copy it. So, you calling me a jackass is not needed, you just made yourself look like the jackass. But thanks to those that actually did help.
