I used CK autokick, but the announcements don't work. But Is there another to making announcements on the server? ie, "WELCOME TO blah blah server?"

You could use CI. I use it and I think that it is better, plus it is not hard to set up.

Also you can set it up to put it at the top, middle, or side. And there are alot of other nice options too that you may like.
