Can anyone tell me what a tga file is for? I've got Heinrich's blood mod and it has 2 tga files plus the PK3 file. Wondering what the tga files do? I can't tell any difference with or without them. Is there somewhere where the different file types are listed and what they do, or are for? Thanks

.tga targa file format - if you cany use tga's for your skins mohaa also supports jpg's and if you dnt have a program that supports jpg wallbash:

A .tga also has/can have an alpha channel where jpegs cant.

I am a noob when it comes to mods, so can you tell me in dummy language what the tga files do for the blood mod and do I or should I use them? Also what are the most popular mods. What is the best scope mod and blood mod out. Are there any really cool mods I just can't live without?

it is the texture for the blood.
