Canadian sailor dies in submarine accident:

So much for a "minor" fire. GG coverup.

There's a new sconfrence on CBC newsworld right now with the Chief of Defence Staff and the Vice Admiral of the Navy if anyone is interested in that.

hmmm

[quote:1f1ca]The submarine was travelling to Nova Scotia from Faslane, on Scotland's west coast, after being sold to the Canadians by the Royal Navy and handed over on Saturday.

Captain Steve Upright told BBC News 24 the submarine had been examined and declared fit prior to its handover to the Canadians.

And Captain Finney said: "The early indications of the situation on board Chicoutimi is that the problem is nothing to do with any technical aspect, the design or build."

Pics of the H.M.C.S Windsor in dry dock. The Windsor is a Victoria class sub, the same as the H>M.C.S. Chicoutimi

You haven't seen a huge naval vessel until you stand next to a floating dry-dock. Those things are bigger than Luxembourg.
