uhhhhhh.. why would we want a pop up screen for messages? Is this a role playing game?... or? I thought this was an action game were you got your assignments and went out and tried to accomplish them and killing nazis on the way. Is there gonna be a mission where you are undercover, and you have to talk to people? How would be understand them?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, because of the emersion factor, even Duke-Nukem had different things to say (press keys for taunts, it was simple, but it was there)! Think of NOLF, you got into conversations and could choose what to say, IMO it really helps you get into the game. They could use it in the game while opperation behind enemy lines, having to trick the germans into letting you through a check-point is one example.

Understanding them is easy, just show what they say at the bottom of the screen in English.
