In the first MOH I remember an intro sort of thing that translated many German sayings into English. Der americaner hat hunduguchen en der tasche. The American has dog biscuits in his pocket. I would always say this kind of stuff to German exchange students in my school. It's those kind of things that makes a game great. Oh by the way is there going to be any dogs in the game? It can't be a Moh game without dogs.

In MOH on playstaion ... if you completed certain levels and got certain medals.. or you can just get cheat codes off the net and change the language... In my opinion it doesnt really matter to me if they have that. It would be more realistic if they spoke german.

maybe several questions pop up at the bottum of the screen and you have to pick which one to speak in german and some of them can be wacky like "Would you like to touch my penis ?" or "where is the cheese house located so i can shave my balls with cheese ?"

and then the germans look at you weird and think your retarded . then you pick the right question and they let you through . kind of like carrying an english-german dictionary around . you never know , 2015 can be saying that Powell is fluent in German , but in reality his german could suck that bad . kind of like when indiana jones told those germans that Marcus Brody knows all those languages and he blends in with the crowd , when he really stuck out like a sore thumb

uhhhhhh.. why would we want a pop up screen for messages? Is this a role playing game?... or? I thought this was an action game were you got your assignments and went out and tried to accomplish them and killing nazis on the way. Is there gonna be a mission where you are undercover, and you have to talk to people? How would be understand them?

official page says that the main character is fluent in french and german . and there was some interactions with NPCs in the other games . plus the main character is an OSS agent , that means that half the time in the game he's going to be fighting it out with the germans along side his buddies or by himself and other times he's going to be undercover and maybe going behind enemy lines where he , i'm assuming , has to interact with people not just by shooting at them .

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, because of the emersion factor, even Duke-Nukem had different things to say (press keys for taunts, it was simple, but it was there)! Think of NOLF, you got into conversations and could choose what to say, IMO it really helps you get into the game. They could use it in the game while opperation behind enemy lines, having to trick the germans into letting you through a check-point is one example.

Understanding them is easy, just show what they say at the bottom of the screen in English.

i would like to see some taunts , especially when the germans kill you from close range , as you die , you hear them say something in german making fun of you or cursing you . or maybe they say something like "stupid American" .

I wonder if they would ever say anything racist, or "Heil Hitler" or something like that.

Well, Thanks for answering my question, in a rude way. thanks anyway. It would be cool to pick what you want to say to the guy and then hear him speak it.

Your welcome, your message is a bit messed up, you wrote what you wanted to say in the middle of my quote! You should probably fix it.

H-A, MoH on PSX is really cool, get it if ya can afford it. And it is ok with bleem, but as I said you get those graphic failures and a few other bugs, but just remember its not fully supported by bleem yet, so it will only get better, What I'm hoping for is mouse support for it, that would be rad. Also back on topic..interacting with the NPC's would be cool. Maybe there could be something like in NOLF ?? Where you have a multiple choice of what you can say when your talking to people you've caught, and maybe if you say something wrong or they dont wanna hear, they start looking confused ? I think this level of interaction would be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath.

I really like games where you can decide what to say like Deus Ex. I think an added twist would be that if you told a civilian too much that some of them would tell Germans or whoever that you were coming depending on the people you talk to. It would be neat if some civilians did not support your cause. About the playstation MOHs, I thought that was one of the best parts of the game was when you could hear them getting closer. This was nice because you could determine when to crawl and be quieter which meant more strategy.
