Probably. I saw one at a gun show that was like $900. Mine was $400 and in better condition than the one I saw.

Purchased it from some government program thing so that's likely why.

Nice purchase, which model did you get? I got a M44 Mosin Nagant with the attached bayonet, its pretty kickass. I got it for about $85. The Big5 near my house has a Turkish 8mm Mauser 98 rifle for theh same price. Post some pics.

Im going to guess he got a m91/30. At that price and that year. The carbine version was the m38 was made before the m44, and it did not have the bayonet.

no I was like 4 houses away from her house when I decided to look at my phone to check what time it was, and my mom left me voice mails telling me to get my ass home, but this was the only time I got caught

Yea, they're a bitch to pull back.. You need to point the gun almost straight down and pull back as hard as you can and turn it to the left.
