Rofl, meaning eh?

You both have sigs from music and movies. Where is the meaning in that?

Perhaps you were trying to say something about the underlying American devotion to fame and fortune?

Maybe you were wanting to express your opinions to the power and awe of multi-million dollar entertainment ventures?

Shorts, Apocs, and depending on how you view mine are the only sigs in this thread that even remotely addresses anything close to a "statement". The fact is most of us around here do not make sigs for the sake of fighting political oppression, confronting economic or global issues, or address artistic faults or point of views.

We make them because they look nice. Newt used to make some awsome, very powerful sigs and large works, but nothing recently.

James, you made the Kennedy one, but that was for a DW... nothing strong on your own for the purpose of making a "statement"

Quite simply, no one likes the "LeetWeb" style because they either cannot make that kind of work themselves or they want to be "cool" and hate whatever is popular. Fellas if you can do this:

Then I'll listen to your explination of how "trendy" or "more of the same crap" this style is.

I like trendy sigs. So what if people see them in other forums. So its called self expression. Just because someone makes a sig that you see every where doesn't mean you have to talk crap about that person. Just keep it to yourself.

Its just like music its all opinion.

zen: I thought thats what people that those sigs where called. Sorry about the whole trendy type thing. But I do Agree on that post.

I didnt read your whole post zen n00b. Just some of it. My sig has meaning to me. When i look at it, i get a feeling from it. I dont mean that it has to have a subject to it, just that i feel an emotion when i look at it When i look at it, i feel a sense of sadness. Dont know why, but that's how i feel. When i look at yours, i get a funny feeling. Dont know why. When i look at his, i just see a dude

If I got a penny every time I saw one of those derivative sigs, I would be one rich mofo. Don't like it.
