ok, I'm pretty sure this can be done, but I'm looking for some kind of adaptor that will allow me to hook up my PC speakers to my tv.

what do I need for that?

uhh. is that even the same idea as mine? he wanted to hook up his PC to a sound system, that really doesnt specify what kind of sound system he wants to hook up, it could be a 5.1 surround sound sterio system.

and I didnt understand wtf you were talking about in your post

1/8th inch connector is like whats on the end of a set of head phones.

rca (patch cable) = vcr type plug

so , pc speakers to your tv/stereo you would probably have to find an adapter that went from 1/8 th inch (female) connector to (male) rca. (male has the prong / female has the slot)

you can probably find something like that at radio shack.

This is the adaptor that you need. I've found one packaged with the last couple of speaker sets I bought.

alrioght, thanks.


One other question, will I have to have a STEREO TV for this? cuz all I have are 2 A/V plugs, my TV is a mono speaker.

Get a Y-adapter at Radio Shack.
