You know the scary thing is, you know how they mentioned "Pi Pi" Island in Thailand. I was there on holiday a few years ago and it struck me. Somewhere I've been is in absolute turmoil. All the people there I've talked to and stuff are probably dead.[/quote:7d9cf]

Yeah! I've thought exactly the same thing! And, me too, I went to Pi Pi also! (Wasnt so picture perfect, was it? I was surprised there were so many Muslim kids..one Muslim kid played leap-frog on me while I was in the water, sinking me down a couple feet).

I remember going to Phuket (ever been there?) in Thailand, and going to the post-office at the beach, and the McDonalds, and having a Thai guy stare at me, then my mom, then back at me and just thinking "What the hell is this American kid doing with a Thai lady?". He's dead. The McDonalds clerks are dead. The officer who smiled at me in the post-office is dead. Its pretty scary to think of.[/quote:7d9cf]

I've been to Mcdonalds in Phuket as well. Maybe we went to the same one. biggrin:
The quake hit at the worst possible time, holiday season (Christmas) where there are the most people in those islands from around the world.
