there were some damn good songs in garden state, i should check out that soundtrack, like there was that one version of "such great heights" which i thought was originally from the postal service, but this version was acoustic and even better........
I'm not a big fan of movies that employ lyrical music to try and convey their points. Words should be spoken by the actors...
That being said:
1) LOTR
2) Anything by John Williams (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc)
3) Office Space (my one exception - the music was SO extreme and out of context that it was an indispensable part of the movie)
