Colonel is Offline Master Sergeant Posts: 1,789 Join Date: May 2002 Location: Marietta, GA	08-13-2002, 11:40 PM Good idea. I love to discuss military history. I met an old guy (not THE Oldguy) last week that fought in the Pacific. I was fortunate enough to hear his stories about the war for about an hour. Among the many stories was one about how he was issued a carbine but after the first time it took three shots to stop an attacker he threw it away and switched to the M1.
