Zonah is in need of your computer skills (and possibly bowstaff skills).

Got the new HD tonight from Western Digital. My old one died last week, but thankfully it was under warranty.

I brought it right to the store, got 'em to install it as well as another 512MB of RAM. w000tar!

Everything seems to be kosher. I just gotta install everything now. B'OH!

Gotta question before I start installing stuff.

I had a ton of apps installed on my defunct F:\ so obviously I have a load of apps in my Add/Remove programs list that don't exist anymore, yet still have registry entries.

Is there anything I can do to remove these phantom apps from the list?

[url=http://www.majorgeeks.com/download460.html:d6f8a]This[/url:d6f8a] will remove them from the list and should remove a lot of the defunct reg entries.

Edit: Install it, run it, and then have a look at the "Uninstall Menu" tab. Tick what you want to remove from the list and try either "Uninstall" or, more likely to work, "Remove Selected".
