i got a question. my friend asked me if i wanted to buy a racer chip for my jeep. one question what is it? and will it make my car still leagal still

I'm pretty sure it tweaks the engine to optimal RPM's, shifts the gears at optimal times. It's tuning software/hardware....but yeah, why would you need it in a jeep

I think it's a "Jet" chip you're talking about. no idea why you'd want one for your jeep, and yes it should still be legal.

I have a jeep, and see no need for it. Not like it adds 50hp or something drastic.
