Don't wear anything but a traditional tux. You can go with a silver vest or something, but stay away from "Dumb and Dumber." If you wear a white tux, or a top hat, or a cane, everybody's gonna be looking atr you on the dance floor and saying, "Wow, look at that faggot." We all said that at my prom to the guys wearing goofy shit.

I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. I am going to get one with a red bow tie and some nice collar designs to it--looks more contemporary than the hardcore traditional tux.
