Something that pisses me off about some of the Mexican families in my town is that they still think they are in Mexico and they raise their Mexican flag somewhere in there yard. oOo:

[quote = "$p!k3"}Colonel why don't they just join the border patrol? Besides it isn't the police departments job to secure the border it's their job to arrest and turn in illegals.[/quote]

See the above post - there are only so many Border Patrol guards in service. THe BP couldn't take these guys even if they wanted to - it's not in the budget.

After Sept 11th i thought that we should seal the borders and not let anyone in.

this just makes a stronger case for it . whos to say that terrorists arent coming in thru mexico or canada ??

these are licensed gun owners . that dont want free loading illegall immigrants coming into a country that they belong in , as soon as i found out a terrorist was caught coming into the country i would make it a national defense issue and have the national guard patrol the borders , i bet after a few "illegals get smoked , they will think twice about sneaking into the U.S., and if the mexican army is escorting these people ..w ell thats another topic hake:

In my eyes to sneak across an international border is an act of war. It doesnt matter which border either. If I were to sneak into Canada it would be a vilotion of international law. The way these people hurt our economy is they tax our system with free health care forcing multilanguage schools, govt buildings ect.
if I were to sneak into mexico and demand free health care, demand the schools teach english demand govt employees learn english so I can understand them how far would I get?
I think this is one of my countries biggest problems, if not the biggest. It is easy to say "those poor people need our help" or "they are just looking for work" that may be true but there are legal ways to get here and if there wernt so many illegals here more legals would be allowed in. I hope this forces my govts hand into more border patrol agents.
We need a HUGE electrified fence that will zap you into next year! 50 ft beyond that a .50 cal ready to finish the job. Am I a little extreme, yes. Do I love my country and think this MUST be handled ASAP, yes

PS if I were to move to France Id learn french, If I were to move to Mexico Id learn spanish, If I were to move to Canada Id leard Canadian, eh

"It's an ugly situation that's going to get a whole lot uglier, unless the American government does something about this."

That's about the size of it, yep.

I just think that the government should put their heads in the door a little bit more with this kinda stuff. Increase the budget so they can get more government sanctioned patrols going. The way Bush has dealt with Mexico is one of the things I disagree with him on.
