Hi,
how do i find out my ip so that someone can join the game i am hosting? i am running Windows Xp, With a cable modem (512kbs).

Could someone help me please?

Go to Google.com and type What's my IP. It'll take you to a site that will tell you what it is. Do this before you start a game. Your IP address may change depending on your ISP. So you might want to get in the habit of checking it before you start any game.

Isn't there a Run command which you can use?
i tried http://www.ipchicken.com and http://www.whatismyip.com and when my mates tried to join they had no luck, everytime i visit these sites they always give me the exact ip address.

click start => click run => type "winipcfg" hit return and there ya go ...

I think my ip changes all the numbers every soo often, I know some change a few numbers but I think my whole ip is changed every day.
