China Image Scores Better Than U.S. (even with Britain)

Support for the U.S.-led war on terror has dipped in European countries like Britain, France, Germany, Canada and Spain, while it remains low in the Muslim countries surveyed like Pakistan, Turkey and Jordan.

'War on terror' losing support

Support for the US-led war on terrorism has been falling even among some of the United States' closest allies, an international poll found.

Support for the Iraq war is even lower.

In most of the countries surveyed, people rejected President George W. Bush's claim that removing Saddam Hussein from power has made the world safer.

I don't consider "freeing the world" to be a good thing, but I don't disagree with getting rid of Saddam. One less crazy islamic leader until the next one shows up.

Back on topic, 700 is a pretty big injury count. Were there really that many bombings?

1# You misquoted me.
2# I'm not going to get into an Iraq war debate, because I don't care. - My point remains, Afganistan and Iraq were two different wars with two different motives. The public reacted differently to each one with reason.

Wow this is amazing. I just got the day off from work. Yesterday they pulled all the counselors asside adn told us about this. There are about a dozen people I work with from the UK so they all ran to the phones and made sure everyone they knew was ok. Another terrible incident. hake:
