I bought a 2 ohm stable amp. other wise they over heat and shut down if you make them run down to 2 ohms.
and if you want punch you need to wire them down too 2 ohms. you take both positive wires on one side and both neg to the other side. like the left channells you put both pos in to and the right you use the neg. then you get the pounding subs. 4 ohm amp wont cut it.
ohh and you need a crossover or you will fry your speakers.
