a friend of mine gets his imported from finland through ontarios liquor store - the lcbo (liquor control board of ontario). the good absinthe contains higher levels of thujone. thujone is what gives it it's pyschoactive properties. ive only done a shot and i was already pretty wasted at the time, but there were moments when i could get a good feel for it. if i had a job i would buy some, so i say buy it (if you can).

like i said in my post, it's thujone that gives it its pyschoactive qualities and you can import absinthe containing high levels of it from european countries.
