Downloaded maps in main file....can't play

oOo: As mentioned in the title I downloaded some maps from Allied Assault.Com to my MOHAA/ main file but when I go to play them online they don't appear. Instead I am sent back to the room with all the doors (where I can then opt for multiplayer and start all over again) It was suggested to me to check or uncheck the compression option. That doesn't make any difference either way.......So..........I put it to you relative experts..............................I want to use your maps......fill me in on what I am not doing....................My computer is plenty big enough to handle the job. I suspect there is some little detail left out of the installation instructions. Supposedly all I have to do is download the map into my main file and that is it. If it is that simple I should be playing right now. But no. Please help..............and thanks in advance.

Did you put the Zip file in your mohaa/main folder, or the files that were in it?

lo.. eek: probably done it but make sure they r unzipped..and if they r in the main as pk3 then there should be no problem with them...what to do is make sure they r the right map aswell as there are maybe 1-3 maps same name 1 obj 1 tdm and a dm map..just make sure + also the make sure u have the same version the server is runnin..umm apart from that im stuck lol.. not had any probs really apart from maybe pulling a few ugly women on a saturday night but nothing on the medal subject....anyways ..g-luck

eek: They dont mention map 1, 2, or 3. HMMMMM. Just read and the user file. That is it. Hey, I clicked on the map as it was listed. Say, BELGAS. I clicked on it as it was listed and that, according to directions and assurances, was enough. Nothing else. Is there something I need to use these files? What am I not being told?

well if its the user- files thats goin into main m8 there should be no reason 4 them not to work..the problem i used to have with the all seeing eye was when i installed new maps all seeing still didnt acknoledge they wer in my main so i just used to goto options and under installed games do the auto search for the moh.exe file and then the maps used to be shown as already got..probably wont help u but..nm..good luck m8 wi it
