The AK-47, I beleive, was first made in 1947, IE it's name. It was either then or later 40's or early 50's.

the russians need to update their primary assault rifle from ak-47 to famas or maybe m4

russians use AK-74 now i believe it's 5.4mm or around there, which is the one in the game or at least the beta i played

Yeah, they use the AK-74 now or the AKS74u. No Army in the world that I know about uses the Greasegun, and why the hell would a terrorist group choose such an old and obsolete weapon ?? Raven really did a bad job with the weapons in the game and the sounds. Basically it's your run of the mill run and gun shooter....nothing more. Multiplayer is crap too, I dont know what all that fuss was about when people were saying the MP was gonna be awesome. It's craptastic at best. Could have been better....much better, Raven are capable of so much more.
