I just made another layer over all the picture black, than took an erase tool and turned the fill and opacity down and just started to randomly erase.

Why do you still have your "my computer" and recycle icons on your desktop when you have them in object dock?

right click on the desktop, "arrange icons", "show desktop icons". It will delete all the icons, so your fuck ton of useless folders will also dissapear.
