Default Cancer hits my family - 10-27-2005, 11:56 AM

My grandpa just found out he has throat cancer. First person in our family to get cancer....out of like everyone...guess all the smoking caught up to him. He starts going to do radiation therapy. There's a chance they can get rid of it all. Crappy news to start off my day oOo:

Damn that sucks, I hope your grandpa makes it. My grandfather died this year as of result of smoking all his life. He developed lung cancer because of it. The fact that he lives in a poor country just made his situation worst. We had no money for him to get treatment. He suffered a lot, had 2 strokes. Finally he passed away this year. Smoking is a bitch. I hope your grandpa gets through this. Really do.

cancer has hit us hard, mother, father in law, many aunts and uncles. I guess it doesnt like us Irish people. Dealing with my father in law early this year was the toughest. Watching him wither away like he did was truely tough
