This game is old as hell. I played a few levels like last year. . .
It was interesting. . .hated waiting for research to complete so I could get new units so my damn lil workers wouldnt get murdered.
But the game does have style going for it - almost like LUMINES. No graphics - all style.
Dont expect it to get much play here - if theres no guns for these heathens to obsess over the rate-of-fire and reload mechanisms, they aint interested.

Rome: Total war > diplomacy > 1602 AD > Axis vs Allies > Civ series > darwinia.
I got rome total war for xmas 2004 and I sold it after I played it two times.

R:TW is a fantastic game, all tactical really. & the diplomacy with the computers is quite deep as well. Online is a tad slow due to so many versions being out/ incompadibilities, but it still kicks ass.
[quote="Mr.Buttocks":f6de2]I've heard lots of good things about this game, and the demo on Steam is rather spiffing; Have any of you young Nigerian fellows bought this game?[/quote:f6de2]I played the demo and enjoyed it quite a bit....it is very different/original.
