the state may have done it's job, but now the fact that a huge and irreversible mistake has been made is evident, I'm sure he will get a massive compensation payment, if not then the state will be failing to do one of it's other jobs.

Agreed. They took away half of a man's life: regardless of how well the state tried, it should now offer compensation. TGB, how would you feel if your ass had been locked up for 24 years and told that you would get nothing for all the lost time and memories ? You can post anything you want on this forum, but we all know the real answer to that question...

Jeb Bush signed a bill allowing Wilton Dedge to receive $2 million for the 22 years he spent in prison for a rape he did not commit. Dedge, 44, also was exonerated by DNA evidence.

"There ain't no compensation for what they done to me," said Crotzer, whose mother died while he was in prison. "But I'm not bitter."
