Okay, I have decided that Lost owns. I watched the first two episodes. Nice. Without giving away spoilers, have you found out, by season 2, what the big monster thing is, what's on the Southerner's letter, where the french radio transmission came from and why the iterations were being counted, why Kate was being "escorted" back to America, what happened to pregnant lady's baby, what secret "scarface" told walt, and what the Japanese guy was trying to get the others to eat.
Yea, Im not very far.

to clarify, the lifeguard kid was the kid who was giving someone mouth to mouth in the pilot, and Jack told him "that's wrong; you should consider giving [that lifeguard] license back] and then the kid went off to find a pen. The one legged dude was the guy who was trapped beneath the engine, Jack pulls him out from beneath a large chunk of debris, and is revealed to have lost a leg in the crash. |

(Jack turns to look for the source of the cry for help.)
MAN TRAPPED UNDER TIRE: Somebody help me!
(He sees a sandy-haired man lying in the sand, his hand outstretched to reach
for something to grab on to. From a different camera angle, we see that he's
trapped under one of the broken plane tires.)
MAN TRAPPED UNDER TIRE: Aah! Help! Help!
(Spurred into action, Jack runs over to the trapped man.)
MAN TRAPPED UNDER TIRE: Aah! My leg! Aah!
(Jack tries to lift the entire airplane tire and metal attachment by himself,
but it's much too heavy for one man to do alone.)
MAN TRAPPED UNDER TIRE: Aah!
(Jack looks around for more people to help him.)
JACK: (shouts) Hey, get over here! Give me a hand!
(He sees someone off camera frame and motions for him, yelling for him and
others to help.)
JACK: (shouts) You! Come on! Come over here! Give me a hand!
(Several men gather around the tire and the metal attachment.)
JACK: (shouts) On the count of three! One ... Two ... THREE!
(The men lift and Jack pulls the man out from under the tire. His leg is raw
and bloody. Jack immediately gets to work on setting the Man's leg. He rips
the Man's pants to get to the wound. He takes off his own tie and uses it as a
tourniquet around the man's leg.)

why? why does she have to live that long? She got shot twice in the stomach, she could bleed out before the others got back to the hatch...with the preview from next week's episode, it doesn't make sense to think that she lives, it would make what the preview said impossible... |
